![]() ![]() ![]() That’s fancy, at least fancier than the E20’s notch (and that’s a 5 MP camera to boot). More interesting is the selfie camera – it has an 8 MP sensor and it is inside a punch hole. There are a couple of more cameras on the back, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth cam. This camera can record 1080p video at 30 fps. It may not sound jaw-dropping, but there are no other Go edition phones that can match it. The relatively powerful hardware continues with the camera – there is a 48 MP sensor on the rear, 0.8 µm pixels (1.6 µm with 4-in-1 binning) and an f/1.8 aperture. All three models have 6.5” IPS LCDs with 720p+ resolution (20:9), but the E30 and E40 displays run at 90 Hz. The Motorola Moto E30 is powered by the same Unisoc T700 chipset as the E40, which does run full-fat Android (though it has the benefit of 4 GB of RAM). But that is pretty much where the similarities between the two end. ![]() This is an Android 11 Go edition phone, just like the E20 and it has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage. This phone has mostly the same hardware as the E40, save for a couple of important limitation. There is already a Moto E20 and a Moto E40, is there something in between? There is now – the Moto E30 quietly appeared on Motorola Slovakia site as well as Aldi in Belgium. ![]()
